Bowls include glaze drips that do not affect the structure or functionality of the bowls. Price reflects those flaws.
These are all fired to about 2200 degrees F and are made from porcelain. They can take heavy/ daily usage for many years. However your pieces will last longer and stay more beautiful with minimal microwaving and hand washing. Do not leave bowls submerged in water for long periods of time.

If you receive your mug and it has a flaw from faulty manufacturing please email the studio within a week of receiving your mug with pictures to arrange for return.
